potential improvements
Specification: Global governments should mirror the actions carried out by non-government organisations, especially following the direction of groups such as WWF, which focus on eliminating the major perpetrators of the decline of tiger populations, as well as maintain and repairing the habitats which are necessary for their survival. By doing so, governments will be able to achieve far greater results in comparison to current projects, further the global campaign against the issue.
Co-operation between government and non-government organisations: Co-operation between these two parties, which possess the majority of influence in correcting the issue, will greatly increase the current ability of each of these organisations at repairing the damage caused to tiger populations. Co-operations would result in a dramatically increase pool of resources, such as funding and staff, which, in turn, would substantially improve the effectiveness of their operations.
Overall improved awareness: The extent of which the global tiger population has suffered is an uncommonly known fact in modern society. This is a major setback for non-government organisations, as well as the government, which both rely heavily on support from the public, in order to generate the highest probability of success. An example of a great way of arousing awareness is through advertisements, like Figure 5.c, which spreads awareness of the declining tiger population by representing blood as the stripes of a tiger, overall symbolising the slaughter-esque nature of humans to tigers.
